Overview

Lobuche East stands at an elevation of 6,119 m (20,075 feet) above sea level, making it one of the most popular trekking peaks in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Located near Mt. Everest, this trekking peak attracts climbers worldwide to experience the magnificent beauty of the Himalayas up close. 

The ascent to Lobuche East begins from Lukla, following the Everest Base Camp trekking route, passing through sherpa villages, forests, and valleys with breathtaking views, rich with local culture and traditions. Climbers have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Sherpa culture and traditions and get to explore the Sherpa way of life.

Lobuche East is nevertheless a challenging climb that requires some mountaineering skills along with serving as an excellent preparatory climb for more peaks in the region. It is a combined adventure of natural beauty and mountaineering for climbers seeking an unforgettable and extraordinary experience.

Itinerary

• Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu(1400m) & Transfer to the Hotel

• Day 02 - Fly from Kathmandu – to Lukla, and trek to Phakding (2,800m

• Day 03 - Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazzar (3,440m)

• Day 04 - Acclimatization at Namche Bazzar: (Rest Day)

• Day 05 - Trek from Namche Bazzar to Dibuche (3,870m)

• Day 06 - Trek from Dibuche to Dingboche (4,243m)

• Day 07 - Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m)

• Day 08 - Trek from Lobuche to Everest Basecamp and back to Gorakhsherp (5,170m)

• Day 09 - Trek from Gorakhsherp to Kalapatthar 5,545m (Sunrise view) and back to Lobuche

• Day 10 - Trek from Lobuche to Lobuche High Camp (5,400m)

• Day 11 - High Camp to Lobuche Peak Summit (6,119m) and Back to the Lobuche

• Day 12 - Trek from Lobuche to Namche Bazaar

• Day 13 - Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

• Day 14 - ly from Lukla to Kathmandu & Transfer to the Hotel

• Day 15 - Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley

• Day 16 - Transfer to the Tribhuvan International Airport for final Departure

Cost Includes

• (Arrival and Departure) Airport - Hotel transfers – Airport (Pick Up and Drop), by private vehicle.
• 3 nights hotel in Kathmandu (4-star category) - single room on bed and breakfast plan.
• One Welcome Dinner in a tourist standard restaurant in Kathmandu with Office’s Staff.
• Medical & Emergency rescue Insurance for all involved Nepalese staff during the trek and expedition.
• (Domestic Flight) Fly from Kathmandu – Lukla and while returning Lukla - Kathmandu, as per itinerary.
• All necessary expedition equipment transportation for all Members and Staff from Kathmandu to Lukla (by air cargo) and Base camp (by Porters / Yak) – While returning: Base camp to Lukla (by porters / Yak) and Lukla to Kathmandu (by air cargo).
• Up to 25 Kg per member as personal baggage during the trek to be carried by porters.
• 3 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner; including tea and coffee) along with accessible accommodation at Hotel/Lodge/Tent during the trek and at the Basecamp.
• government-licensed climbing Sherpa per member (1 Member: 1 Sherpa), during the entire climb from Basecamp to the summit and back.
• Climbing Sherpa to assist in carrying your gear to the high camps.

• Members will share tents in high camps (2 members: 1 tent).

• Local government licensed Guide (English speaking) during the trek and sightseeing in Kathmandu valley.
• Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley [Swoyambu (Monkey temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square] by a professional guide.
• Lobuche Peak climbing certificate issued by NMA (after climbing Lobuche peak successfully).

Cost Excludes

• International flight airfare (from and to Kathmandu).
• Nepalese Visa fee is $50 USD for 30 Days.
• Lunch & dinner during the stay in Kathmandu (also in case of early return from Trekking / Expedition than the scheduled itinerary).
• Extra nights’ accommodation in Kathmandu. In case of early arrival or late departure, early return from Trekking / Expedition, domestic flight cancellation (due to any other reason) than the scheduled itinerary.
• Insurance covering both medical and high-altitude evacuation costs (for the trip cancellation, interruption, high altitude rescue & air evacuation, medical treatment, repatriation, etc.) *Mandatory
• Telephone Calls, Internet, Toiletries, battery recharge, hot shower, laundry, soft drinks, beers, and any Alcoholic beverages (during the trek and in Kathmandu but we will have soft drinks for members at base camp).
• Clothing, Packing Items, Bags, Personal Medical Kit, and all kinds of Personal Trekking / Climbing Gear.
• Soaps, shampoos, toilet and tissue papers, toothpaste, and other items used to keep yourself clean.
• Special Filming, Camera, and Drone permit fee.
• Not included during the trek and the expedition.
