Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

    Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our representative greets you and transfers you to your hotel in Kathmandu. After a brief rest, you meet your trek leader for an introduction and a detailed briefing about the Mardi Himal journey. You can spend the remaining time exploring Thamel’s vibrant streets, shops, and cafés. This day helps you transition into Nepal’s culture and prepare for the trek. Overnight in Kathmandu.

  • Day 2 - Fly/Drive to Pokhara & Trek to Deurali (2,100m)

    Start the day with a scenic flight or comfortable drive to Pokhara, Nepal’s lakeside paradise surrounded by the Annapurna Himalayas. From Pokhara, drive to Kande and begin your trek. The trail leads through peaceful forests, charming villages, and beautiful viewpoints offering glimpses of Machhapuchhre. As you ascend gently, the air becomes fresher and the scenery more serene. Reach Deurali and enjoy a warm mountain welcome. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

  • Day 3 - Trek from Deurali to Forest Camp (2,600m)

    Today’s trek takes you deep into lush rhododendron and oak forests, with a steady and peaceful ascent. The thick forests provide shade and tranquility, broken only by birdsong and the sound of the breeze. Occasional open sections offer mountain views that become increasingly impressive. The trail remains relatively quiet compared to other popular routes around Annapurna. Arrive at Forest Camp, a peaceful stop surrounded by nature. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 4 - Trek from Forest Camp to High Camp (3,550m)

    Leave Forest Camp and gradually climb to Low Camp, where the tree line begins to thin and the views open wide. Continue to Middle Camp, where the mighty Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) dominates the skyline. The trail becomes increasingly scenic as you trek along ridgeline paths with expansive views of the Annapurna range. After a rewarding day of steady climbing, reach High Camp, perched strategically for stunning sunsets. Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan panoramas before resting for the night.

  • Day 5 - Hike to Mardi Himal Viewpoint (4,200m) & Return to Low Camp

    Begin early to catch golden Himalayan sunrise views as you hike toward Mardi Himal Viewpoint. This is the highlight of the trek, offering close-up, dramatic views of Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and the entire Annapurna range. The trail is ridge-based, with breathtaking drops and endless mountain vistas. After enjoying the viewpoint, descend back to High Camp for breakfast. Continue descending through alpine and forest trails to Low Camp. Overnight at a teahouse.

  • Day 6 - Trek to Siding Village & Drive to Pokhara

    Today’s trail descends through lush forests, gradually transitioning into fertile terraced farmland and traditional settlements. The walk is pleasant and refreshing as you leave the high alpine region behind and return to lower altitudes. Siding Village offers an authentic glimpse of rural Nepali lifestyle, far from the tourist crowds. After lunch in Siding, board a local jeep for a scenic drive back to Pokhara. Enjoy a peaceful evening at the lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 7 - Fly/Drive Back to Kathmandu – Final Departure

    After breakfast, travel back to Kathmandu either by flight or a scenic drive. Depending on your departure schedule, you may enjoy last-minute shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu. A representative will transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure. Leave Nepal with beautiful memories of the peaceful and rewarding Mardi Himal adventure.

  • Two nights accommodation with breakfast (room with attached bathroom) in kathmandu
  • Rescue operation arrangements in case of complicated health conditions (funded by travel insurance)
  • Farewell dinner in Kathmandu at the end of the trek
