After check-in, you meet your trekking guide for a detailed briefing on the Everest Base Camp trek, including safety guidelines, packing tips, and an overview of the journey. The evening is free to explore Thamel’s vibrant streets, shop for essentials, or enjoy a relaxing dinner. Overnight in Kathmandu, preparing for the adventure ahead.
Take an early morning scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks and valleys. Upon arrival, meet your trekking team and start the trek along the Dudh Koshi River. Walk through pine forests, suspension bridges, and quaint villages, soaking in the first glimpses of the majestic mountains. Reach Phakding in the afternoon and relax at your teahouse, enjoying the peaceful highland atmosphere.
Trek through charming Sherpa villages, cross several suspension bridges, and pass through rhododendron forests. The trail gradually ascends with panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Arrive at Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, known for its markets, lodges, and vibrant culture. Spend time exploring local shops, tea houses, and monasteries. Today is dedicated to acclimatization. Take a short hike to Everest View Hotel or nearby viewpoints to enjoy stunning views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan giants. Explore the village, interact with local Sherpas, and learn about their culture and traditions. Use this day to rest, adjust to the altitude, and prepare for higher elevations. Leave Namche Bazaar and follow trails that wind through pine forests and small villages. Cross stone-paved paths, climb ridges, and enjoy ever-expanding views of the Himalayas. Arrive at Dole, a remote settlement surrounded by alpine scenery. Take time to rest and enjoy the peaceful, serene mountain environment. Overnight in a teahouse.
The trail becomes more rugged as you enter high-altitude terrain, with sparse vegetation and panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks. Walk past glacial streams and rocky ridges while observing the unique landscape of the upper Khumbu Valley. Arrive at Machhermo, a quiet village ideal for acclimatization. Enjoy warm meals and rest, preparing your body for the higher elevations ahead.
Spend the day acclimatizing with a short hike to nearby viewpoints or along glacial trails. Enjoy stunning close-up views of Cho La, Taboche, and the surrounding peaks. Use the day to rest, hydrate, and adjust to the altitude. The quiet environment of Machhermo allows for a relaxed pace and preparation for the challenging sections of the trek.
Follow trails across glacial moraines and high-altitude landscapes. Pass small settlements and frozen streams while ascending gradually. Arrive at Gokyo, a serene village beside turquoise Gokyo Lake. Explore the village, enjoy the breathtaking surroundings, and soak in views of Cho Oyu and the surrounding peaks. Overnight in Gokyo.
Begin early to hike Gokyo Ri for sunrise, offering a panoramic view of Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Witness the magnificent Himalayan range from this iconic vantage point. Descend and continue trekking to Thangna, crossing moraines and highland trails. Overnight in Thangna, reflecting on the stunning vistas and high-altitude scenery.
Trek along the Khumbu Glacier, passing memorials of climbers and rugged alpine terrain. The trail becomes steeper as you approach Lobuche. The village provides a small teahouse settlement at high altitude, with spectacular views of Nuptse, Pumori, and other surrounding peaks. Start early, trekking past the Khumbu Glacier to reach the iconic Everest Base Camp. Explore the site, surrounded by towering peaks and glacier views. After a memorable experience at EBC, descend to Gorak Shep for overnight stay. The journey offers unmatched views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers.

Afterward, descend through Gorak Shep and Lobuche to Pheriche. Overnight stay in Pheriche, reflecting on the incredible views and trek experience.
