Overview

From ancient kingdoms to majestic mountain vistas, trek through the breathtaking Himalayan landscape of the Annapurna Ranges. Pass awe- Inspiring glaciers, stay on the bank pristine rivers, cross mountain pastures, dip into natural hot springs and encounter mule trains carrying supplies to remote villagers. Rest in revive in cozy mountains tea houses and meet friendly locals along the way. Moreover, you will witness the sheer beauty of the diverse Himalayan landscape as you hike through fairy tale forest , vast moorlands cut by    cascading rivers  and the blue-hued peaks of base camp as they glow under starlight!

While passing through fascinating villages you will experience terraced farmland, giving an insight into how the locals of this area live. It also winds through rhodondren forests, passes over glacier, rivers and waterfall that allow spectacular views of sheer cliffs with rivers running below.  And of course the Himalayan provides an awe- inspiring backdrop! With the highest altitude being 4130 at Annapurna Base Camp, and a steady but gentle increase in altitude in days proceeding, there is little likelihood of altitude- related problems.

The panoramic Himalayan ranges appear in golden color while on sunrise and sunset from Poonhill (3210m). The scenario is astonishing from east to west gradually; Lamjung Himal(6983m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna IV(7525m), Machhapuchhre(6997m), Gandharva Chuli(6248m), Hunchuli(6441m), Annapurna South(7219m), Annapurna I (8091m), Baraha Shikhar(7647m), Nilgiri South (6889m), and MT. Dhaulagiri (8167m). Actually few words couldn’t describe the charm of this trek.

Itinerary

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)

    Arrive in Kathmandu, where our team warmly welcomes you at the airport and transfers you to your hotel. After check-in, you will receive a short briefing about the trek and necessary preparations. The rest of the day is free to explore the city, shop for gear, or relax after your journey.

  • Day 2 - Drive to Pokhara (900m)

    Take a scenic drive to Pokhara, enjoying views of rivers, terraced fields, and the Himalayan foothills along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lakeside hotel and spend the evening strolling around Phewa Lake or exploring local cafés. Pokhara’s peaceful atmosphere sets the perfect tone for your adventure.

  • Day 3 - Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Tikhedhunga/Ulleri (1,570m / 2,070m)

    After breakfast, drive to Nayapul and begin your trek along the Modi Khola River. Pass charming villages like Birethanti and Hille before climbing the famous stone steps to Ulleri. The day offers lush forest scenery, local culture, and the first close glimpses of Annapurna peaks.

  • Day 4 - Trek to Ghorepani (2,860m)

    Continue through dense rhododendron and oak forests, one of the most beautiful sections of the trail. As you ascend, enjoy the changing vegetation and cool mountain air. Ghorepani welcomes you with stunning views of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges — a perfect place to rest before tomorrow’s sunrise hike.

  • Day 5 - Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m) & Trek to Tadapani (2,630m)

    Start early for the famous Poon Hill viewpoint, one of Nepal’s best sunrise spots. Witness golden Himalayan peaks — Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, and more. After descending to Ghorepani for breakfast, continue your trek through forests and ridges to Tadapani, known for close-up views of Machhapuchhre.

  • Day 6 - Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m)

    Descend through a beautiful forest trail to Chuile and then to Kimrong Khola. After crossing the river, climb uphill to reach Chhomrong, the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary. The village offers spectacular views of Annapurna South and Fishtail.

  • Day 7 - Trek to Dovan (2,600m)

    Walk down the stone steps to Chhomrong Khola and climb again to Sinuwa. Continue through lush bamboo forests and peaceful trails before reaching Dovan. This section feels serene, with waterfalls, forests, and minimal settlements.

  • Day 8 - Trek to Deurali (3,200m)

    Follow a gradually rising trail through forests and alpine landscapes. The scenery slowly opens up as trees thin, offering wider mountain views. Deurali sits in a dramatic valley surrounded by cliffs and waterfalls — a beautiful spot to rest before reaching the base camps.

  • Day 9 - Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m)

    This is one of the most rewarding days. Trek first to MBC, entering the heart of the Himalayas. From here, continue to Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by a 360° panorama of Annapurna I, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, and more. Enjoy the sunset views and experience the magical atmosphere of the Annapurna Sanctuary.

  • Day 10 - Trek back to Bamboo/Sinuwa (2,310m)

    Wake up early to witness sunrise over the massive Himalayan walls. After breakfast, descend following the same route through MBC, Deurali, and Dovan. The downhill walk is long but scenic, eventually reaching Bamboo or Sinuwa for overnight rest.

  • Day 11 - Trek to Siwai & Drive to Pokhara

    Continue descending through Chhomrong, Jhinu Danda, and Sinuwa. Enjoy a refreshing soak in the natural hot springs at Jhinu Danda. From Siwai, take a private vehicle back to Pokhara and relax at your hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 12 - Drive/Fly Back to Kathmandu – Final Departure

    After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara airport for a short domestic flight to Kathmandu, or drive along scenic highways. Upon arrival, you may have a few hours for shopping or sightseeing in Kathmandu. Finally, a representative will take you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, ending your Annapurna Base Camp adventure.
