Overview

The Annapurna Circuit is also of the famous trekking choices, elevating at a height of approximately 5,416m. Although the trek consists of an extensive trekking route, we assure you that it is going to be worth the experience. This circuit covers a huge Himalayan range and wildlife, along with lush valleys, terrain and a wide range of landscapes. With the vibrancy of rhododendron forests and the flavour of rich culture, the journey through quaint villages and terraced fields will enrich the experience of trekkers. 

A captivating adventure awaits those who are nature enthusiasts and wish to experience the serene scenery of the Annapurna Circuit. Warm welcomes from the local communities will provide trekkers with a sense of belongingness. The surrounding nature along with mountains and landscapes will overpass the challenging paths of the trek. 

The Annapurna Circuit goes beyond the challenges and encompasses the blend of cultural exploration with natural beauty. Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Meet your trekking guide for a briefing about the journey. Spend the evening exploring Thamel or resting after your flight.

  • Day 02 - Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar, then to Syange/Jagat

    Take a scenic drive along rivers and terraced fields toward Besisahar and continue to Syange/Jagat. Enjoy beautiful views of hills, waterfalls, and rural villages. Overnight at a lodge.

  • Day 03 - Trek from Syange/Jagat to Dharapani (1,960m)

    Begin trekking along the Marshyangdi River through forested trails and stone-paved paths. Pass beautiful settlements and cross suspension bridges. Reach Dharapani, a major Annapurna trail junction.

  • Day 04 - Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,670m)

    Walk through pine forests, mani walls, and traditional villages. Enjoy magnificent views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II. Reach Chame, the district headquarters with hot springs.

  • Day 05 - Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300m)

    Follow narrow trails carved into cliffs with dramatic river views. The trail opens into wide valleys as you approach Pisang. Explore Upper Pisang’s monastery and enjoy stunning Himalayan scenery.

  • Day 06 - Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,540m)

    Take the high route via Ghyaru and Ngawal for the best panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Visit Buddhist monasteries and traditional villages. Arrive in Manang, a vibrant high-altitude town.

  • Day 07 - Acclimatization Day in Manang

    Spend the day acclimatizing with short hikes to viewpoints, lakes, or monasteries. Learn about altitude and mountain safety at the Himalayan Rescue Association. Explore Manang’s culture and landscapes.

  • Day 08 - Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4,050m)

    Climb gradually through alpine meadows and yak pastures. Enjoy close-up views of Gangapurna and the Chulu peaks. Reach Yak Kharka, a peaceful high-altitude settlement.

  • Day 09 - Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4,525m)

    Continue through rugged terrain with stunning mountain views. Cross a suspension bridge and ascend to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for Thorong La Pass. Rest early for the big day ahead.

  • Day 10 - Cross Thorong La Pass (5,416m) and Trek to Muktinath (3,800m)

    Start early for the challenging ascent to Thorong La Pass. Enjoy breathtaking views from the top, one of the highest trekking passes in the world. Descend to the sacred temple complex of Muktinath.

  • Day 11 - Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2,720m)

    Walk through the desert-like landscapes of Mustang. Pass ancient villages like Jharkot and Kagbeni, rich in Tibetan culture. Continue to Jomsom, famous for its strong winds and apple orchards.

  • Day 12 - Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara

    Take a short, scenic flight to Pokhara with stunning Himalayan views. Spend the afternoon relaxing by Phewa Lake or exploring the lakeside area. Overnight in Pokhara.

  • Day 13 - Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

    Drive back to Kathmandu through scenic hills and river valleys. Upon arrival, enjoy free time for shopping or relaxing. Optionally, enjoy a farewell Nepali dinner.

  • Day 14 - Final Departure

    Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight. Depart with unforgettable memories of the Annapurna Circuit.
