The Langtang Gosaikunda Pass trek offers a great mixture of stunning landscapes and cultural experiences. The trek starts from Langtang Valley taking trekkers through dense forests, along with crystal-clear mountain rivers. With the proper blend of Tamang culture, this trek provides an opportunity to experience the thrill of adventure that comes along.

Going forward, trekkers will arrive at the sacred Gosaikunda Lake which is surrounded by snow-capped peaks. This site holds a high significance for Hindu and Buddhist communities.

Since this trek is a moderate to challenging one, this makes it a suitable trek for trekkers with different levels of experience. The journey will be filled with culturally rich trekking experience, creating a long-lasting impression with unforgettable exploration of the Langtang region.

Itinerary

  • Day 01 - Arrival in Kathmandu

    Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport and transfer to the hotel.

  • Day 02 - Kathmandu to Syabrubhesi

    Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (7-8 hours) Overnight stay in Syabrubesi

  • Day 03 - Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel

    Trek from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Langtang Khola Overnight stay in Lama Hotel

  • Day 04 - Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley

    Trek through the jungle alongside the noise of river and occasional encounter with mule on the way. Overnight stay in hotel in Langtang valley, fairly dense lodges selection.

  • Day 05 - Langtang Valley to Kyangjin Gompa

    Slow and steady walk to next destination Kyangjin Gompa, the last settlement before returning back. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains Overnight stay in Kyangjin Gompa

  • Day 06 - Kyangjin Gompa (Acclimatization Day)

    Explore Kyangjin Gompa and surrounding areas Optional hikes to Tserko Ri or Langshisa Kharka for acclimatization Overnight stay in Kyangjin Gompa

  • Day 07 - Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

    Trek back from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel Retrace your steps through the Langtang Valley Overnight stay in Lama Hotel

  • Day 08 - Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabrubesi

    The trail passes through forests and small settlements. Overnight stay in Thulo Syabru.

  • Day 09 - Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa

    Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa (4-5 hours). Enjoy the views of Langtang Himal and Ganesh Himal ranges. Visit the cheese factory at Sing Gompa. Overnight stay in Sing Gompa.

  • Day 10 - Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda

    Trek from Sing Gompa to Gosainkunda (6-7 hours). Pass through forests and small streams. Reach Gosainkunda, a sacred lake at an altitude of 4,380 meters. Explore the area and enjoy the serene surroundings. Overnight stay near Gosainkunda.

  • Day 11 - Gosainkunda to Ghopte

    Trek from Gosainkunda to Ghopte via Lauribinayak Pass (6-7 hours). Cross the Lauribinayak Pass at an altitude of 4,610 meters. Descend to Ghopte, passing through rocky terrain and dense forests. Overnight stay in Ghopte.

  • Day 12 - Ghopte to Kutumsang

    rek from Ghopte to Kutumsang (6-7 hours). The trail offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. Pass through picturesque villages and lush forests. Overnight stay in Kutumsang.

  • Day 13 - Kutumsang to Chisapani

    Trek from Kutumsang to Chisapani (6-7 hours). Enjoy the scenic beauty of the landscape. Chisapani offers magnificent views of the Himalayas. Overnight stay in Chisapani.

  • Day 14 - Chisapani to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu

    Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal (3-4 hours). Descend through forests and small villages. Drive back to Kathmandu from Sundarijal (1-2 hours). Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

  • Day 15 - Departure from Kathmandu

    Transfer to the Airport base on the returning schedule.

  • Two nights accommodation with breakfast (room with attached bathroom) in kathmandu
